Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Hungary Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Hungary showcased varied trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 8.5K at the start of the quarter. Although there was a slight dip mid-quarter, downloads stabilized towards the end, averaging about 4.2K to 5.9K. Active users showed a significant rise, starting at 110.8K and reaching a high of 131.3K by the end of March.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 7.6K and concluding with numbers around 4.2K. Despite fluctuations in active users, the app ended the quarter with approximately 25.2K active users.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery saw a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting from 723 and descending to 332 by the end of the quarter. Active users hovered around 8.8K, with minor variations throughout the period.

Oszkar telekocsi recorded steady download numbers, fluctuating between 379 and 468 weekly downloads. Unfortunately, there was no data available for active users during this period.

Careem – rides, food & more had a modest download count, ranging from 221 to 417. Active user numbers started at 769, with a slight decrease to 639 by the quarter's end.
